Update from Lebanon
Before the explosion, Lebanon reached its worst economic and political crises of its 100 year history. The explosion plunged the already devastated country into unbelievable destruction.
Our team leaders reported that our center, school, studio, café, book store, guest houses, as well as my apartment 15 miles away, have all sustained damages. All the windows and doors of all four floors of our School of Hope have been blown out. Even strong metal gates over our store fronts have also been blown out.
Some of our staff had minor cuts. The brother of one of our staff had serious injuries and he is still in the hospital in intensive care. Our teams immediately began to minister to the families affected by the blast.
