[The Blog] @PDCPC - Meet Marshall Jackman

Meet Marshall Jackman

Posted by on

This month we were pleased to welcome Marshall Jackman to our staff team as the Executive Director of Operations. Marshall’s arrival to PDCPC is a return to his California roots after a 9-year hiatus in Iowa. He brings to us a depth of wisdom and experience that is the result of his careers’ in high tech engineering, operations management, and pastoral ministry.

Marshall’s gifts of joy, service, communication, care and business have given him the opportunity to serve in vocational ministry, but according to Marshall, his true full-time ministry is to love his family: Cindy (aka “Cindydoll” his wife of 39 years), his 2 amazing daughters (Christy & Marina), four granddaughters (Lacy, Mila, Rylee, Eva) and two dedicated fathers and husbands that are his son-in-laws (Mike & Nick) who all live in the Huntington Beach area.

A few quick facts we found out about Marshall:

Hobbies? Racquetball (really any sport) and anything creative.

Favorite restaurant? Starbucks, El Pollo Loco (It’s the crazy chicken thing), Vanilla Ice Cream (Boring) and his bride’s cooking.

Ideal vacation? Typically, seeing the kids, but now that they are closer to their kids… Marshall & Cindy love to explore and serve, so a mission’s vacation is at the forefront.

If there were one thing you want the people you serve to learn about God, what would it be?

“I want them to learn, they are God’s masterpiece and that the Designer loves and knows them best.”

Why are you excited about serving at PDCPC at this time and in this season? Is there a unique opportunity you see before our church body at this time?

“Just my being here to serve is a nutty, God orchestrated opportunity. This church has a valuable history, and I see it also has leadership teams willing to help the church family impact the generations beyond today. I love the passion this church has and how leadership wants PDCPC to be a home for truth, care, life change, family, and reaching into the community.”

Join us in welcoming Marshall to PDCPC. You can find Marshall at church on Sunday morning, at the church offices during the week, or you can drop him an email at  to say hello!
