New Study in Proverbs led by Andrew Sanderson
How are we supposed to live in this era of so much information and misinformation? When our social leaders look for wedge issues to make you take sides and label those who disagree as either foolish or evil. How are we supposed to react to the rapid changes in the morality that our culture accepts, and what do we do when what was regarded as immoral yesterday is now protected from criticism? The answers are in a book written three thousand years ago. God caused a book to be written for the people of that time and all ages since that looks at how to apply His truth to the way we live our lives - how to live wisely. This book is the what we call Proverbs. Over the centuries is has urgently called God’s people to get wisdom and acquire understanding through the study of the Proverbs. We will be obeying this command in our weekly studies starting on the 15th Sept after the worship service. Bring your coffee and doughnut (or maybe it would be wiser to have some healthier snack!) and be prepared to share your experience of working through difficult moral challenges as they are raised verse by verse and chapter by chapter.
