| Bible Study/Discussion - On Monday evenings from 5:30-7:00 p.m. for 6-8 weeks, Family Ministries hosts a dinner and study in couple’s homes. We also provide child care by an adult, at no cost. For fall 2009 discussions will be on a Contemporary Biblically based video series. Any couple (or single) who would like a place of fellowship and spiritual growth is invited. |
| Family Movie Night - In November 07' we held our first “movie on the lawn” for families and children, with the showing of Ratatouille. Over 75 parents and kids joined us with their picnic dinners and free popcorn. Look for future movies where you and your children can relax on our church lawn and watch movies under the stars. |
| Parenting Classes - We seek to help parents to be effect in raising their children. Classes are usually held during the morning on campus. Past classes have studied Boundaries with Kids, and Raising Great Kids by Drs. Cloud and Townsend. |
| Children’s Ministry Social Events - Throughout the year our Children’s Ministry hosts fun events for the kids--such as the “Extemporaneous Christmas Pageant” or the “Feed a Friend” lunch, or the “Cool Down Day & Movie” during the summer. Each of these is a pot-luck meal where children and their parents can enjoy the company of other families. |

| Opportunities for Local Service - We have great human needs here in our backyard, for which we can help make a difference in Christ’s name. Families and older children can help serve dinner at the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission any time and see the work being done for the homeless in our valley.
