» We offer holiday events that include families and their neighbors and encourage outreach and fellowship within the church family. » We have a great children's choir. » We have a successful Vacation Bible School program. » We introduced Samaritan's Purse Shoeboxes to this church family. » We have a great preschool directed by Cristy Harshaw. » The Harvest Carnival - it, too, was created through family and children's ministry, but now is a church wide event. This Outreach event is bigger than ever! There is something for everyone at every age level: Game booths, Free food, Pony rides, Obstacle courses, and Climbing walls. Our Purpose The primary purpose of children's ministry is to offer a Sunday school morning program for children that will: 1. Plant seeds of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the hearts of every child God brings to us. 2. Nurture those seeds through Bible knowledge, application and scripture memorization 3. Demonstrate to our children the love of Jesus Christ through our dedicated teachers and staff. 4. Provide a learning , loving, exciting and fun environment in such a way that the child will desire to return. This year, beginning in September 2011 through June 2012, our Sunday School will meet at 10:15am. Most Sundays the children are to enter the Sanctuary at 10:15am with their parents for Children's Sermon. We have a staff of 37 teachers and teacher aids - mostly parents of our children who love kids and enjoy teaching Our curriculum is the best: Group Publishing offers the finest in church curriculum. Children's ministry in this church is a success story. It's a success story because God guides and blesses this ministry and because of your support and generous financial giving.
