Words are one of the most powerful forces in the universe, yet God entrusts them to us. This in–depth Bible study takes a closer look at what God has to say about our words. Popular author and speaker Sharon Jaynes explores fascinating examples of women in the Bible, contemporary illustrations, insightful questions, and practical steps that create an exciting exploration of:
God's Incredible Gift, The People We Impact, The Power of a Woman's Words to Her Husband and Her Friends, The Power of a Woman's Words to Fellow Believers and the World, The Promise of Power and the Product of Practice, The Potency of Silence and the Profound Possibilities.

….. CONNECT THE DOTS …..

This fall we are launching an exciting new education program – Connect the Dots. Connect the Dots is a 30-week Bible overview offered in three, 10-week terms. The first 10-week term will be held in Taylor Fine Arts on Sundays from 10:15-11:15 a.m., October 2 through December 4, taught by a team of three pastors and two lay leaders.

Many are familiar with some Bible stories (like Noah’s ark, Joseph and his coat, David and Goliath, Jesus’ birth, the cross and the resurrection). But few know how these stories are connected to God’s grand scheme of saving his people and ultimately redeeming all of creation. Connect the Dots seeks to make these connections.

Participants learn the content of the whole Bible, major theological truths and how to apply them to life today. Notebooks with printed lessons to help with weekly preparation will be available for $10. The heart of the program is relatively easy to follow. Connect the Dots term 2 will be on Sundays, January 8-March 18, 2012 and term 3 will be March 25-June 3, 2012. We will have two training terms this fall for the teaching team for terms 2 and 3.

Sign up at the Connect the Dots table after Sunday worship service(s) on September 11, 18 and 25 and be part of what we believe is vital to our spiritual growth as disciples of Jesus Christ.
